The Isolated Observation: Color Separation series is created through the combination of multiple on-site drawings. In “Monday thru Friday,” layers are organized by time. “Furs & Skins” include layers of brown that represent various seasons. “Warm Chroma Scheme” and “Obliged as Secondary” are each arranged using systems of the color-wheel. All of the drawings do follow the same system of organizing space. Items are plotted on the page in proportion to how they are situated within the bus—distant details are small and at the top of the page and closer images are depicted larger and placed towards the bottom.
